Welcome to St Mary’s Church of England Primary School. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and that it gives you a flavour of our school community.
Children are at the centre of every aspect of our work as we strive to provide a happy and secure environment in which all children, at every stage of their development, can achieve the best of which they are capable. We are recognised as a fully inclusive school which is committed to providing a relevant and high quality education for all children living in the area. The school’s ethos and culture (founded on Christian values) serve to celebrate difference and diversity and create a climate in which everyone knows themselves to be valued for their distinct and individual skills, attributes and resources. We aim to engender a sense of community and belonging and to offer new and enriching opportunities to all learners.
We believe that close partnership between teachers, parents and governors is essential if your child is to thrive and achieve. We work with parents and carers to ensure every child makes good academic progress and develops key life skills. If you are thinking of joining St Mary’s, or have children whom already attend school here, we hope that you will contact us with any queries or comments you may have.
No website, however detailed, can be as informative as a visit in person. If you would like to visit us and see the school at work, please contact Mrs Radcliffe or Mrs Elsam in the school office on 01761 470 245 or email email@example.com to arrange a mutually convenient opportunity.
We look forward to meeting you.
